I was a bit skeptical because of the name at first, but we had to come back a second time because we really enjoyed this place. The food is amazing and you can see that they put a lot of effort in the presentation of the food as well.Also the location is very nice, very cosy and quite at the beach.

Very good food with great attention to detail, friendly staff and beautiful location.We have been there already two times and it won’t be our last! 10/10

The flavors are authentic and absolutely delicious, making it well worth the wait. And yes, wait times can be over an hour during busy periods, but each table has games to help pass the time.The young chief waitress is fluent in English and an absolute delight, ensuring every guest feels welcome. While they also serve Dutch specialties, the Thai dishes are definitely the highlight and what most visitors come for.If you’re craving exceptional Thai food in a relaxed beachside setting, Dutch Thai Restaurant is a must-visit!

It is certainly one of the best restaurants on the island, small but very nice. The location on the beach is great, the food excellent. All the dishes we had were freshly prepared, so it can take a little longer at peak times. You can bridge the waiting time with a round of UNO, 4 Wins or Jenga. My recommendation is definitely the curries with roti, a wild combination! We've never eaten in a restaurant more than twice, but we made an exception here and went four times!

The presentation of each dish is equally commendable, set against a cozy and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience.While the wait for the food can stretch to about an hour, the restaurant thoughtfully communicates this upfront. This wait, however, is undeniably justified by the exceptional quality of the dinning that follows.One area for improvement lies in the attentiveness of the waitstaff. A more proactive approach in checking on guests and ensuring their needs are met would elevate the overall experience. Despite this minor hiccup, the remarkable food earns Thai Dutch a well-deserved five-star rating."

We came here twice and it was brilliant. Beachfront location. Freshly prepared dishes and incredible seafood. If you get a chance, try the shrimp - either tempura or garlic and pepper. Highly recommend. (Connect 4, Jenga and Uno for the kids on every table ).

Excellent, very high quality Thaï food in a beautiful setting with great prices. Lovely staff. The orders take a while to come out but there is a sign stating this so fair enough, the food is clearly not mass-produced. It’s well worth the wait! The green and Massaman curries were exceptional. We will be back!
